HEAT RECOVERY

Efficient and hygienic plate heat exchanger heats or cools the fresh air supplied to the room, retaining up to 90% of the energy. As long as the outdoor temperature does not fall below -3 ° C, electricity is used only for air supply and disposal, which is roughly the same as energy consumption of a single light bulb! Even with the need to preheat the air, smart control algorithm ensures minimal power consumption.

High-class filters of air handling unit Oxygen X-Air C200 clean the air perfectly, retaining even the smallest particles and pollen, making it particularly useful for sensitive or allergic people.

The higher filtration class, the more dense is the filter, so you need to replace it more frequently. Filter lifespan depends on the contamination of the environment in which the unit is installed.

WHY THE CLEAN AIR IS SO IMPORTANT?

“Important as air” is said about something that is vitally important. Air is one of the most important elements, necessary for life to exist. Without it we would only survive for a couple of minutes. However, in addition to vital oxygen, there are other gases in the air: nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), carbon monoxide (CO) and dioxide (CO2), ozone (O3), other particles (dust, smoke, ash, salts), microorganisms (molds, bacteria and viruses), pollen, carcinogenic substances, moisture.

All these materials are volatile and therefore enter the premises through open windows, doors, ventilation systems. Due to insufficient ventilation, moisture builds up and with it so does mold and dust mites. One may smell chemicals left over from cleaning, other odors, there is a lot of dust as well. Such conditions are very damaging to health, especially for the elderly and children because it leads to a reduced disease resistance, various allergies, migraine, sleep deprivation and feeling of being sick. Spending a lot of time in contaminated air gives rise to a variety of chronic respiratory, circulatory, or even oncological diseases.

WHAT ARE WE BREATHING?

According to various studies, a person spends up to 80 percent of time inside the premises, so it is vitally important to keep the air clean there. Whether it is a dwelling or an office, it needs to be constantly ventilated so that the air inside is replaced with new, fresh air. Insufficient ventilation over a longer period of time increases the number of microbes, humidity, dust in the air, oxygen level drops (especially when more people are in the room – having a meeting, large group of friends visit, etc.).

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO VENTILATE?

Technical regulations for construction stipulate that the air in living quarters must be renewed once every three hours. This ensures the necessary indoor air quality. Air change should be more intense in case of smoking or excercising in the premises.

IT IS NOT EFFICIENT TO OPEN WINDOWS!

New, high-energy class homes are incomparably tighter than those built 10 or more years ago to save as much heat as possible. Because of their tightness, ventilation is necessary, but ventilating the rooms by opening windows is ineffective, hence not recommended. In winter, expensive heat is discharged through the windows, and in the summer – coolness. Therefore, the best way to ventilate is a mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery that ensures constant air supply to the premises, while retaining the heat energy.

While ventilating naturally dust, pollen and insects enter the premises together with fresh air. Ventilation system filters the air, its efficient filters trap dust, pollen and other solid particles.
